Season 11
Trevor Ricardo Spencer, Jr. (They/Them) is a performer residing in Rosedale, NYC. They earned their B.A in Dance and have performed with companies such as, The Fredidance Project, Aeturnus Dance Collective, The Rogue Dancers, as well as choreographers: Sara “Primary”, Bobby Morgan, Ethan “Simba” Graham, Nia Kennedy and Fiona Tsang. Trevor is currently a member of KR3Ts and is excited for their 4th season with The Choreojoey Project. Trevor would like to thank Ms Vivian Ullmann for igniting his passion for dance.
Jasmine Prestiis from Long Island, New York. She graduated earning her BFA in Dance at Adelphi University in 2022. She has performed works from many acclaimed choreographers like José Limón, Martha Graham, Mark Morris, and more. She is currently a company member of Limón 2.

Alaynia Foxis a multimedia performing artist and New York Native. She furthered her knowledge and skills in dance, theater and film at Lehman College, and the Russell acting studio of New York. recent credits: Heartbreak Crew, Dance Bloc at the Dixon Place, Dancify that! and the Mod arts dance collective of New York. She is grateful to The Choreojoey Project for another wonderful opportunity to reunite with her love for dance and the stage. Thankful to her wonderful family, friends, loving boyfriend Jay and of course fellow company members whom she had the great honor to share the stage with.
Alazia Petersis a dancer from Brooklyn, New York. She has earned a B.S in Physical Activity and Dance with a minor in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland. She has previously performed with the Choreojoey project. She is currently working towards completing a masters degree in athletic training at Montclair State University. She plans to combine her love for science and the arts to treat performing artists.

Sara Alessia Gianniniis from Bari, Italy. She is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, class of 2023. She is a freelance dancer. Sara is a member of iKada Dance Company. This is her first season with ChoreoJoey Project.

Maria Carmen Faliveneis from Salerno, Italy. In 2019 she moved to New York City to enroll in the Certificate program at The Ailey School. Maria Carmen is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, class of 2023. She is a project-based, freelance dancer for companies such as Hanna Q. Dance Company, APDANCE and others choreographers.

Stephen Hill is an Artistic Director and choreographer from Harlem, NYC. Hill has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance at Lehman College in 2017 and has trained at Peridance Capezio, Cumbe, Ailey Extension, and with a Mixed Bag & Company. Hill has previously danced as a guest artist for ModArts Dance Collective under the direction of Leah Tubbs as well as an apprentice for Forces Of Nature Dance Theater under Abdel Salaam.
As a choreographer, Hill has collaborated with previous organizations Arts
In Motion Productions and Barry University to assist in directing and choreographing in Miami, FL. He has also choreographed Caribbean Musicals Ti-Jean and His Brothers with Ma’s Playhouse theater and
Folk nativity with the West Indian Arts Project.
As the founder of The Choreojoey Project, Hill has produced summer productions and ballets presented for community audiences in Brooklyn, NY since 2014.
In 2021, The Choreojoey Project was the recipient of the Emerging Artists residency at Culture Lab LIC, where Stephen Hill produced the ballet PLIGHT in june 2022. The company was also awarded the Mertz
Gilmore Dance residency grant in 2023. Recently the solo “Go Boy” has toured the Northeast United states in the spring of 2023, performing in the Spring for Spring festival in New Jersey, the Hartford Dance
Festival in Connecticut, and White River Junction Festival in Vermont. The latest work VOISINS was created in Brooklyn, NY for the Groundswell site specific dance festival in 2023 and has been presented
at the Detroit Dance City Festival 2024 and as well as the Baltimore Black Choreographer’s festival.
Stephen Hill Joined National Choreographer’s Month (NACHMO) in November 2021 as the regional director for NY productions and has worked with Maja Bajka to present NACHMO’s January Challenge studio showings in 2022 and 2023, offering emerging choreographers opportunities to create and perform. Recently, Hill produced NACHMOx: OUT LOUD offering emerging LGBTQ+ choreographers andartists networking and performance opportunities as a part of PrideFest at The Tank in June 2023.
Hill returned to Lehman College as an adjunct and a recipient of the Alumni Choreographic Fellowship in Fall of 2023 to create a research based movement for Lehman College’s annual Dance In Dialog showcase. “A Ceremony Our Own” was presented in fall 2023 based on the discovery and understanding our how ceremonial dances are created, how they define a culture or a class of people and which traditions would be utilized to survive beyond performance. This work was also shared at Queensboro Community College as a part of the Kwanzaa celebration through a collaboration with Kofago Dance Company.
